Shift in Fashion Industry
Unlike the clothing of the early 40’s, the clothing of 1950 was the highest quality. After the Second World War, the atmosphere was one of optimism and enthusiasm and economic welfare. This is where U.S. born the idea of the American dream. After the war, people just wanted to establish a family and have a stable life and quiet with all amenities. This is why women lose the excitement of women’s liberation had begun to emerge in the 20. Again the woman wants to stay home and cook for her husband and take care of chores.
