The young single households live independently in their separate homes, and their social movements mostly include hang outs with their friends and visits to restaurants. These households at earlier ages (of the age range specified above) attend college whereas after graduation, their days are spent at work and evenings are mostly occupied with friends in terms of hang outs or parties. Their food consumption mostly includes ready to cook meals including corn flakes for the breakfast, burgers or club sandwiches, baked pizzas etc. and drinks include non-alcoholic carbonated beverages. Since young single households’ social moves are targeted towards attracting members of opposite sex and finding a date, therefore their expenditure on clothing is high and is centralized towards fashion clothing and they are highly brand conscious. Moreover, they spend a lot on personal health care goods as well such as high expenditure on makeup products by the females.
