“New Urbanism is an urban design movement intended to produce the physical environment necessary for diverse, strong communities. It supports a pattern of Urbanism, based on historic neighborhoods, incorporating diversity and walkability in order to allow for personal interaction and an active lifestyle. The ultimate end is a fuller quality of life, enabled by a functioning urban framework.”

Modern urbanism is an advance to city growth and maturation. The primary intention of the planning was to bring the importance of urban plan in a new advanced way; the planning theory helped the designers to discriminate between local and regional by using the right tool to do it.  The movement towards urban extension was dazed by developing dull connections in conjunction with thoroughfares and unenclosed areas connection local centres like commercial spaces, business centres, urban hotspots, bazaars and so on. The system allowed the people to move freely around, giving the people to slow down and take life more intimately and cherish personal relations and experiences.  Regional structure of Urbanism was designed as a sector that differentiated the local from regional Intelligent Urbanism divisions. The regional area of the city gave importance to the life beyond the fast lane which did not give importance to the human to human relationship. This zone of influence in the regional sector gave way to differentiate the sectors as local and regional. As well, it regards the area as essentially being part of metropolis.  The modern urbanism understands the smart way of designing the metropolis and the various regions. Regional sector was viewed as a sector of growth during New Urbanism.
