Development of relationships with individuals and how these interact within the society with other are known as social aspects. McDonald’s tends to create this relationship and interaction appropriately. There are a number of social aspects. However, considering the case of McDonald’s, the two main aspects that have been identified include social culture and satisfaction. These two terms may appear similar but are highly different. Social culture refers to the set of values or beliefs followed by a society. It is estimated that there are 7 billion people all around the world and hundreds of culture being followed (Rice 2013, 10). Thus, social culture becomes much more important for the McDonald’s that McDonald communicates with its customers and public in an ethical manner considering the cultural beliefs and values of societies. The company has been found conducting market analysis to gain a better understanding of culture and religion of people at a particular market place. The alignment of communication channels with the culture can be seen within the product line of McDonald’s, which changes with location. The products delivered by the company are not same all around the globe and there are certain differences in each. Through aligning the communication channels with the cultural beliefs of people, McDonald’s ensures that none of its business activities disrespect or discriminate any of the value or belief of people intentionally or unintentionally.
Considering the customer satisfaction, McDonald tries to reach the audience satisfaction with adequate mediums, including newspaper, radio, Internet and direct selling. The most intense communication is seen at the situation of direct selling as the employees of company directly interact with people and deliver them in accordance to their order. To ensure effective and significant communication of company with people, McDonald’s ensures that each of its employees have efficient soft skills and influential factors. The company provides each of its employees with effective training and coaching so that employees obtain a better understanding of the significance of adequate communication and interaction. It is a well-known fact that the people feel more attracted and inclined towards the companies whose employees are soft and friendly while interacting with.
