The CEO Jacqueline Marcus has addressed various issues about falling financials by 10.3% and stock prices by 27% for Persuade Café because of employee dissatisfaction, lack of interest by customer, lack in quality of menu items, increase in price and delay in service even after adding new menu items and other services. From my preliminary understanding and research or analyzing customer and employee surveys results, I identified that the issues are more from employee satisfaction, services provided, training of employee, staff communication, introduction to new services and activities to staff and more. Iwould like to give my recommendation for the following
Staff Training, Monthly Meeting and Learning: The employees are not happy in terms of information required in the café and also the process and standards to follow while dealing with customers. The lack of information about product is also another issue. To improve this, it is recommended that all new employees are given proper introduction, information and demo about products, training how to serving customers, training to talk and order with customers, training for dressing style. For all the existing employees, it is critical to always encourage them for better services and also conduct monthly learning sessions for new things such as new dishes, new languages, etc. to make sure every employee is in line with the current trends and hence can serve better. This will help the café to get more revenues because employee will be happy and will serve customers more. This also mean more orders and even repeating orders. This will also provide more opportunities for employees to grow.
