Therefore the filmmakers now need to realize that they need to make films keeping in mind the transnational and transcultral perspectives. It must be understood by the directors that different cultures and civilizations have different starting points of the transitions leading to modernity. Modernity is a pretty rich concept in itself and is said to be a multiplicities concept. However it must be kept in mind that there’s a difference between modernization and Westernization. There are many examples in the film industry regarding the cinematic representations of Dharma and Guanxi. Such cinematic representations of religious societies are against the modern beliefs. However they require much more efforts and resources to interact with the audiences. There is a certain set of audiences especially in the younger generation who are sick and tired of the contemporary films and are demanding films with new ideas and modern day concepts and solutions. The concept of alternative mordenitites state that all men are not a part of a grand plan made by God. This concept is promoting liberalism and hence the filmmakers now need to adapt to this change across different cultures. Although it is necessary to mention that it will take some time to go away from the traditional belief system and specially in closed societies where religion have a larger role to play in the society.
