While EBOLA is classified as the most dangerous infectious diseases, it is usually limited to the consumption of bush meat and outbreaks have been limited to certain Geographical Locations. Over the years central African has been noted to be the geographical region where the EBOLA outbreak starts. It is mainly limited to the remote village located in the interior of the continent. This is a positive element linked to managing the disease since outbreaks are easier to monitor and contain. There have been a limited number of outbreaks which have happened in the past. However each new outbreak spread further and considerably increases the danger of a global outbreak occurring (Foxman, 2010).
Due to the disease being classified as the most infectious disease it is also becoming a serious threat to global health where the disease can be used in biological warfare. Terrorism is a serious concern today. As the global community fights the menace, the risk of infectious diseases being used against a nation is increasing on a daily basis (Stolley & Glass, 2009).
