The issue of funding and development of technology can be address if there is proper communication and autonomy of the processes. More often than not, the companies do not have an efficient communication system where the people are made to have effective communication (Ethiraj, Gambardella and Helfat, 2016). This is missing in the current paradigm. If there was efficient communication, there would have been better and efficient intangibles developed by the company. There should be more room for autonomy and creativity of the employees. There should be transparency and accountability to ensure that the company is meeting requirements.
When the companies face many of the challenges, it needs to analyze the performance metrics that it has set for the people in the company. There should be more avenues for the people to have efficient communication and better feedback systems to address the issues that stems from conflicts or from differing ideologies of the company.

Fundamentally, the company should understand the differences between the people and develop a better heuristic process to address the issues of the people.

In the case of GAP analysis, the company can develop a metric to evaluate the actual performance with the requirements of the situation. There should be correct use of the resources and the company should understand the areas of gap. For this process, there is the determining of the issues, documentation of the procedures and using the different business requirement to leverage the current capabilities of the business (Jenkins and Williamson, 2015). There is also benchmarking of the processes that are developed form the current level of operation for the company.
The individual managers in the SIDS and Kid Organization should work with the individual employees and define the Key Performance Indices. They should then formulate the best practices approach. The manager should align the employee objectives with the objectives of the company. There should be individual growth and collective company growth in this process. The Gap analysis is done by the companies on the organization, direction of the business, analysis of the business process and in the infrastructure that is available.
