The identity of masculinity is also being mandated on males and they are believed to be stronger physically than women, whereas women can also be stronger than men if desired, which makes them nurture such an identity because being considered strong and stronger than women is a compliment and psychologically people will do certain things more when they are praised and given or considered better than others . Sugihara and Katsurada identify that Japan has had a defined roles for both genders, in which, men were taught to be strong and dominate over women and children, whereas women were taught to be subservient and obey their husbands and act similarly if they have a male child. Thus, there is evidence enough that men and women have been having more or less a simple structure of values to be followed since ancient times and it is still being followed by them. Thus masculinity and femininity is being mandated to men and women, and there might not be a women dominating a men or vice-versa, and even if may exist it may be very rare, because the entire role of society is not directed towards such an ideology.
